Proliant Dairy Ingredients

In late 2019, construction began on a new dairy processing facility in St. Johns, MI. Proliant Dairy Ingredients is an inhouse processing facility housed within the 375,000 square foot facility, Glanbia. Proliant dries the permeate, a byproduct of the cheese making process, and creates dairy solids which are used in beverages, animal feed, baked goods, and confectionary products. 

Using Allen Bradley PLC controllers, GVA's Industrial Team is controlling the Chillers, Cooling Tower, Make-up Air Units, and an Air Handling Unit. We are also monitoring the level of storage tanks using ultrasonic centers.
